| London. The Hogarth Press. 1937. 187pp. With wood engraved chapter heads by Enid Marx. A scarce semi-autobiographical work published by Leonard and Virginia Woolf. Allinson became a close friend and female confidente of Sir Michael Tippett. This, her only writing is a sensitive account of country life in the inter-war years. Very scarce in its original Enid Marx designed dust-jacket, here quite well preserved, with just a little rubbing and fraying to spine and corners. |
