| 1937. 28pp. Complete with 25 quite characterful woodcuts of animals by the author. Issued as a sort of Christmas 'stocking-filler', the book is not without charm, and was clearly advanced for publication by Robert Gibbings who had by then passed on responsibility for the Golden Cockerel Press to Christopher Sandford. The book is dedicated to Gibbings on the title verso. A well-preserved copy in unclipped dust-jacket. |
